As stated in the Welcome, we just want to talk about the sport here. The conversation/discussions should flow and be enjoyable for all.
As such the rules here are few and simple and aimed at one thing - keeping the conversation flowing and ensuring that everyone feels free to contribute. To facilitate this the rules are:
1. Watch your language. Not here to tell adults how to talk, but foul and crude language will not be tolerated. Foul and crude posts will be deleted and repeat offenders will be banished.
2. Show respect. Everyone is welcome here, and therefore deserves respect. Men, women, fans, coaches, athletes, we want to hear what everyone thinks and has to say. So show everyone respect regardless of what walk of life they are from, or what position or views they may hold. Disrespectful posts will be removed. Repeat offenders will be banished.
3. No personal attacks. This should be understood under rule #2, but so that everyone is clear, personal attacks WILL result in banishment! This board was created to facilitate discussion of track and field. Personal problems, issues, etc need to be handled off of this board.
4. No outing of individuals. Coaches and athletes (as do others) have a right to their anonymity. IF we want to get the views and thoughts of those closest to the sport, we must allow them to do so safely. For some this may mean maintaining their anonymity. Any acts that attempt to "out" another posters will be met with banishment.
5. No accusations. While there is an area for the discussion of "drugs" in the sport, that discussion will NOT include unsubstantiated accusations of athletes, coaches, dealers or others. Such posts will be removed, repeat offenders banished.
