I am going to say John Steffensen for bronze just because there is no reason not to. And Gil Roberts is my dark horse
Sanya wins in grand fashion this year. The only thing that would derail her is if she attempts to chase the AR in the final instead of securing the gold. Silver goes to Sherricka and Chrissy O takes home bronze.

Roberts looked good at the NCAA meet until he got hurt. Then he looked pretty good again at Nationals. He's had enough rest now that he could make his mark.
Richards could go either way. Wasn't aware of the Russian. They are due to make some noise. If this woman is as good as her time she could make Sanya crack.

Clement made the team in the flat .. He was third in the open quarter .. Wariner gets a bye .. We have four entered .. Not sure what he plans to do, but he has a slot in both 400's - open and quarter ..

Yes Clement gave up the spot and Larry moved up a notch .. He and Roberts could actually make some noise if they are both healthy ..
Didn't realize how many youngsters we have on the squad .. Charles Clark (200), Roberts (400), Ryan Brown (800), Dorian Ulrey (1500), Dan Huling and Dan Alcorn (Steeple) and several others .. Same thing on the women's side ..
Might make it harder to score points, but could strengthen the team in the long term ..

The few times I've seen Steffensen he has not looked all that hot. He is losing to 400mh'ers and not beating the top dogs in the quarter.

I wouldn't say that Steffensen is my favorite for bronze .. But he runs the kind of race that in a year like this one where no one else has really stepped up he could get in there and get it .. A strong finisher that runs off the pace, if no one goes out he could be there .. The problem is that in this type of environment someone will take that risk and take it out figuring they have nothing to lose ... And that will be your bronze medalist ..

Nah .. Best guess for bronze not wearing a US uniform is probably Gillick .. He'll run the kind of race necessary to get there .. But expect Lionel Larry to do what he do ..

WTH! ok just looked at the schedule. The women have three rounds in the 200, over three days. One round a day. How ridiculous. And then the men have their 4x100 heats and finals on separate days, while the women have both rounds on the same day! What is the purpose?

Looks like they are trying to balance out the schedule for the spectators as opposed to doing what is best for the athletes ... What else is new
